Dear Guests, welcome to The Nebula Guesthouse. To comply with the Government’s COVID -19 Guidance, we have developed a risk assessment and guidance, as outlined below. We hope this offers some reassurance for your stay with us.
Note this may be subject to change, in accordance with future Government directives.

2.0 Arrivals / Check- In at The Nebula Guesthouse, Liskeard.
2.1 Our normal check –in time is 1600 Hrs and 2100 Hrs, with later arrival times by agreement only. Please advise us of an estimated arrival time when making your booking.
2.2 On arrival , we will meet guests and run through our check in procedures. Social Distancing rules will be maintained during this process.
3.0 Social Distancing at The Nebula Guesthouse
3.1 To maintain social distancing rules, we have modified our dining (breakfast) room and breakfast times, to limit the dining room maximum occupancy at any given time to 6 tables.
If we are busy, breakfast may be provided in two sittings. 1st sitting 8.00 (dining room needs to be vacated by 8.30) and the 2nd sitting at 8.30
We will be as flexible and as fair as possible, with these times, but may have to allocate time slots room by room.
We have modified the breakfast service in the dining room to avoid/ minimise any shared access, and your buffet/hot breakfast will be served on a trolly at your table
3.2 Shared access spaces such as the staircases are narrow and we ask guests to check that thoroughfares are clear, to avoid contact as much as is reasonably practicable.
4.0 Hand / General Hygiene at The Nebula
4.1 We provide anti-bacterial hand sanitisers in the ground floor reception, and in all ensuite rooms.
4.2 Common surfaces such as door handles, and stair rails will be sanitised on a regular basis
5.0 Cleaning and Room Services at The Nebula
5.1 We continue to maintain our high standards of hygiene in bedrooms and en-suite facilities
5.2 All bedding/towels are professionally laundered to a high commercial standard
5.4 Shower gels/ shampoo and anti-bacterial hand wash bottles are replaced for each new guest arrival, along with hospitality trays.
5.5 Soft furnishings such as cushions and throws will be minimised and shall be refreshed prior to each new arrival.
5.6 Please note that room service is limited to refreshing of hospitality trays and bin emptying (to minimise risk to staff). We provide notices/labels (to hang on door handles) if this is required.
5.7 We provide two waste bins per room
5.8 We will provide a plastic bag for towels and request that all used towels are placed in the bag and left in the shower at the end of your stay. If you require towel changes mid stay (usually only where more than three days), please follow the same procedure.
6.0 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
6.1 We have packs available with disposable gloves and a mask, should a guest request this
6.2 Staff will wear PPE when serving you breakfast at your table, and we hope this is not detrimental to the service we offer.
We hope the above information is useful, the measures in place are easy to follow/ not too intrusive and do not detract from your experience at The Nebula.
